Maiko December Japanese ornamental hairpin (KANZASHI)

I can't believe how fast time goes by!!( *o* )!! It is getting close to the end of the year. Finally the last month. The hair accessory series is the final chapter.  Thank you everyone for reading so far!!m(_ _)m   Introducing hair accessories used by December. ※MOCHI(rice-cake)flower {Bits of knowledge} Okotosan Year End Greeting and Okera-bi Fire Offering. December 31 (Gion Kobu, Miyagawacho) On the last day of the year, each maiko visits tea house with the greeting "Okotosan-dosu." Here she receives a 'fukudama (ball shaped bag)' containing small daily items. Later that night, maiko walks to Yasaka Shrine to light a straw rope. When lit, it is called an 'okera-bi' or returning fire with which to light the first fire of the year at home to cook "zoni (special soup for the New Year's day). Looking forward to the "New Series" Something is still a secret!!  :)))  ☆YUKIKO☆
