Maiko March Japanese ornamental hairpin (KANZASHI)

In Japan, we celebrate "Hinamatsuri" on March 3. Hinamatsuri means Doll's Festival. Hinamatsuri is an occasion to pray for young girls'growth and happiness. In Hinamatsuri, most families with girls display dolls called "Hina-ningyo. ※Eat these foods that day!! → "Hina-arare"(Sweet rice crackers) Pink,green,yellow and white. → These four colors stand for four seasons.     "Hishimochi"(Rice cake) Pink,white,green. →Pink is for chasing evil spirits away, white is for purity and green is for health.     "Chirasi-zushi"(A kind of sushi) Many scattered toppings on vinegared rice.
