We also receive a lot of questions about eyebrows. Many people seem to be concerned about the length, volume, strength, and shape of their own eyebrows.

When applying makeup for maiko, the makeup is generally drawn using the geisha's own eyebrows, but any unused parts can be laid down with hair oil and covered with white makeup.

Maiko's eyebrows are uniquely shaped, and if you try to match them, it may not match your everyday clothes or fashion. Some people worry and pluck or shave their eyebrows before the experience, but please come as you normally would without any changes.

If you take extra care to moisturize your skin before the experience, the maiko's white makeup may not stick well.

It's a difficult balance to strike, so please don't worry too much and come in for your usual treatment.

After the experience, please bring your own makeup tools to use before going home.

If you wear hard contact lenses, please bring a contact lens case as you will need to remove them when applying makeup. If you wear soft contact lenses and need to remove them when removing your makeup, please bring a case.
