Geisha makeover experience at Kyoto GION AYA
I'm a bit bigger than the average, so I'm worried about the size of the kimono.
If your bust is up to 110cm and your hips are up to 120cm, you can wear a regular size kimono.
If you are larger than that, we have one kimono in a larger size, up to bust 128cm, hips 154cm, and waist 125cm. The color is navy only.
We cannot determine whether we can accommodate your needs based on your body type, but if you are unsure, we can try on the size of the kimono for you in advance. Please feel free to contact us.
*If you need large size kimono, a reservation is required.
I am tall (over 170cm). Will the kimono fit me?
For tall people, the length of the kimono is a little over 2 meters, but please note that the trailing hem may be slightly shorter.
Can I reserve a kimono?
We only accept reservations for special kimonos, which will cost an additional 8,800 yen (tax included).
Should I bring my own tabi socks?
We will provide new tabi socks for each person for free, so there is no need to bring.
We have tabi socks in sizes S to 4L (approximately 21.5 to 27 cm). If you feel that your feet are too big (or too small), please feel free to contact us. If you would prefer to wear your own tabi socks, please feel free to bring them with you.
