Geisha makeover experience at Kyoto GION AYA
In this Geisha experience, unique to Japan, where seasonal attire is important,
You can choose from gorgeous pure silk kimonos and seasonal hairpins to suit your taste.
*Everything except the special kimono is included in the plan free of charge.
Once a maiko has honed her skills and matured, she becomes a Geisha and assumes the elegant and beautiful attire of an adult woman.
The obi will be tied in a double drum shape, an obijime will be used instead of an obi fastener, and the hair will be made from a full wig and a simple, high-quality hairpin will be worn.
Geisha kimonos tend to be simple, subdued and stylish in color and pattern.
It creates a crisp, sharp look, so it is recommended for those who prefer a mature and cool look.
The special geisha kimono will cost an additional 8,800 yen (tax included) on top of the plan price.
