Geisha makeover experience at Kyoto GION AYA
In this Geisha experience, unique to Japan, where seasonal attire is important,
You can choose from gorgeous pure silk kimonos and seasonal hairpins to suit your taste.
*Everything except the special kimono is included in the plan free of charge.
Maiko's kimonos are all cute and gorgeous. They are characterized by their long furisode kimonos that flutter when they move, and their 7-meter long obi (darari obi).
*Please note that the obi are from the time of the kimono photo shoot, so some may have been retired by the time you visit our store.
At GION AYA, we consider background colors and patterns that will stand out when photographed, and we source exquisite items directly from long-established kimono stores in Kyoto, focusing on classic patterns that are typical of maiko.
The special maiko kimono will cost an additional 8,800 yen (tax included) on top of the plan price.
