This is Tsujishita from GION AYA Maiko Experience Center (^v^) Do you think that only adults can have a maiko experience?! At GION AYA Maiko Experience Center, you can experience it from the age of 7 (first grade of elementary school)! What's more! They prepare in almost the same way as adults, including putting on makeup and wearing kimonos!   The experience takes a minimum of 2 hours, and you don't need to prepare anything in advance or bring anything with you, so you can come on your day off without spending too much time on the experience.     9-year-old K-chan     Her face and hands are small, but she has transformed into a magnificent maiko.   Even though they are so tiny, we use the same makeup and wigs as adults! They are very delicate! We have half wigs for children →What is a half wig? Just like for adults, it looks incredibly natural, and in the case of children, just the visible downy hairs give them a childlike innocence that's really cute.♡♡♡   But she waited patiently for my makeup to finish without touching my face, and when it was done, she looked in the mirror.   It was so cute to see her enjoying putting on makeup.♡ ↑The makeup is for a newly debuted maiko, so it's only on the lower lip.   If you're healthy, keep going(I.e.You can take photos outside the entrance for 10 minutes, so please take photos as much as you can without overdoing it.     Y-chan came to the store to celebrate her elementary school graduation.   It will be a memorable one for you and your family!     The back view is also gorgeous♡♡♡   Children's kimonos can be worn up to about 10 years old (about 145 cm), so we dressed this Y-chan in an adult kimono and a single-knot obi. It's gorgeous!♡   (Usually for children's experiences, we only provide the obi. A full-fledged obi with a single knot would be quite stressful, so we provide a "tsuke-obi" that can be attached with a lighter weight. The appearance remains the same!)   In addition to graduation commemorations, many customers wish to experience the maiko experience as a commemoration of special events such as Shichigosan, half-coming-of-age ceremonies, and birthdays.       W-chan, T-chan, and M-chan are three very cute and beautiful sisters!     Although they all have similar faces, don't you think each of them has their own unique personality?       The youngest child, M-chan, has an adult look that is no less impressive than her older sisters!!!         Lastly, we have 8-year-old K-chan.     The red dress suits you so well!♡♡ You're so good at smiling with that little red eye!   Of course, when adults become maiko, they become younger, but in the case of children, they can also become more adult-like like this. Maybe it's because she doesn't usually wear makeup?? At times like this, it's usually the father who is most surprised (lol). He must be excited to see his daughter as a grown-up lady!? Even if you get sentimental thinking that she's a bride sometimes, she's still a cute daughter! (Fathers can join in from the dressing up♪ During the makeup, you will have to wait for about 30 to 40 minutes in the waiting room next to the makeup room, so you can enjoy watching the makeup process together with your mother later!)   ⇑ The younger brother also wore a kimono (we have some kimonos for boys as well). Both siblings look very cute.   All child plans come with two photos, but you can change to any number you like for 2 yen per pose (if you take the photo in your room)! The pose plan also includes a photo print, so you can take the photos home with you. There is also an option to take all the data of the photos home on a USB or LINE image.
