This is the all-round staff of GION AYA, a maiko experience center. Following on from the GION AYA surroundings that we introduced the other day, we will introduce the Maruyama Park edition. Maruyama Park is famous for its weeping cherry blossoms, but there are also plenty of photo spots in the season of fresh greenery. This time we will introduce Ms. A, who brought all of her preparations with her (she even came with her own hair tied up). The make-up, dressing, and photo shoot were all handled by the center. First, let's start with the area around the pond in front of the weeping cherry blossoms. The irises are in full bloom at this time of year, so the photo gives a feeling of early summer (this year they bloomed as early as mid-April). Next, a different angle of the pond area. There are willow trees on this side, so the combination of willow and green maple leaves is nice. I knew there was a wisteria trellis near the exit leading to Chion-in Temple from Maruyama Park, but this one is the one near the exit leading to Yasaka Shrine. Since there were not many people around, it was easy to take wide-angle photos. The sunlight filtering through the inside of the wisteria trellis was also beautiful.   And... the azaleas in Maruyama Park were in full bloom, still fresh and fresh.   We shot in April, but it was nice to be able to shoot on a sunny May day when the new greenery and flowers were sparkling.
