Have you all been to GION AYA before?

They even got to the next step before us, haha.

This time, we are offering this special offer to everyone who is visiting GION AYA for the first time.
We would like to show you some of the rooms inside AYA store that you can't see from the outside, such as the entrance and makeup room ☺!

Makeup room, dressing room, locker room, etc.
Please enjoy the experience as if you were actually visiting our store~(*^^)v♪

The flow of the experience at Aya is roughly as follows:

1▶ Visit the salon, check in at the waiting room, choose a pose
2▶ Change into underwear in the locker room
3▶ Japanese style makeup and wig in the makeup room
4▶ Dressing in the dressing room
5▶ Shooting at each studio
6▶Free time (Stroll around Yasaka Shrine and Nene-no-michi, take photos in front of the shop, etc.)
7▶Returning home Take off your kimono and get ready to go home in the locker room.
8▶ Album handover and payment

GION AYA is located in the Gion/Higashiyama area.

In the Higashiyama area, Yasaka Shrine, Kiyomizu-dera Temple, Koshin-do, and other places are within walking distance.
If you plan your sightseeing schedule, it will go smoothly if you include these places in it (´ー｀)

Other popular Instagram brands include ARABIKAKYOTO (the one with the cute 100% logo!)
Kisshokaryo is also just a short walk away.

The entrance to GION AYA is marked by an orange shop curtain and this Sai sign.

Would the sign be more noticeable when walking by?

The restaurant is called "Unagi no Nedoko" and has a traditional Kyoto townhouse feel.

Once you open the outside lattice, you will come to a stone staircase, so please be careful where you step.

The entrance is a popular hidden photo spot among our staff!
It would be cute to take a photo with the tea shop image in mind, such as a welcoming pose ♡

We walked down a very long and narrow corridor,

The first room you will enter is the waiting room!

The stickers around the entrance are professionally made senjafuda (paper charms).
The design is so cute, so check it out!

Here, you will confirm the details of your desired plan with our staff.
Once you have confirmed the plan details, you will choose the poses for today's photo shoot!

When our staff visit you, they may find a plan that fits your needs better than the one you booked, or you may want to change from a geisha to a maiko, allowing you to create a more personalized experience, so we will take the time to talk to you!
(If you would like to discuss more, please come 15 minutes before the start time.)

Choose a pose for the photo shoot from the sample poses. There are plenty of poses that are perfect for Geisha and Maiko, so even if you're new to kimono, don't worry!
