Hello everyone, this is Takemitsu, and I've recently been learning how to use Photoshop. It's so difficult, my head is about to explode... I've recently been thinking how amazing photographers are who can use this software. What has soothed me lately, even though my head is about to explode, is the cute little maiko who come to Aya. This time, I'd like to give you a sneak peek at the little maiko who recently visited our shop. Please take a look at her. She is so cute and petite. She is wearing a yellow-green kimono with a white obi, which makes her look very cute. This time, M-chan came to GION AYA to celebrate her Shichi-Go-San festival. S-chan, who looks a little more mature, was dressed as a maiko to commemorate her coming-of-age ceremony on February 2st. When you reach around 1 years old, you start to look exquisitely sexy and have an indescribable cuteness. Even if you wear the same kimono, changing the obi can change the atmosphere. N-chan came with her friend's child. They both looked so cute, like dolls. The umbrella pose is adorable, isn't it? This pose is very popular among the parents. She came with the N-chan from earlier. They're both good friends. She's wearing a child-like red kimono with a black/gold obi, giving her a bit of an older sister vibe, but she's so cute. N-chan was really good at posing, and even though she looked a little pompous, she was so cute that everyone was in love with her from start to finish (lol)   Y-chan, who has a slightly more mature atmosphere, came to celebrate her coming-of-age ceremony on February 2st. Y-chan is a little taller. With a little effort, we dressed her in an adult kimono and tied her obi in a single knot. She looked just like a professional maiko. During this time of year, we get to meet so many young maiko every year, which makes all the staff feel happy. Even child maiko can take autumn-only poses. The pose with the maple leaves in the background is popular with child maiko. The black and red give it a slightly more mature look, but they are all very cute. We are seeing a lot of people trying out child maiko in October and November, so if you are considering it, please contact the shop. Even the children who are nervous when they come to the shop leave with a smile saying "It was fun," which makes me feel really happy and delighted.
