These days, it's hard for me to get out of bed every morning.　But, sleeping in bed in the morning feels so good ^m^

It's nice and warm and I'm happy.

Well, this post has nothing to do with morning bedtime, but I'm actually thinking about writing about "half wigs."

I've been featuring the "half wig" on my blog for a while now, but this time I'd like to show you a little bit about how the "half wig" is finished.

Half wig　

It is done using your own bangs and a little bit of hair on the sides. Because your own hairline comes forward, when viewed from the front it looks natural, as if it was tied with your own hair.

This is how I usually explain it to my customers, but I thought it might be a little hard to understand with just words, so I've included some pictures this time.

So, this is how I'm going to finish the "half wig" ~ Here we go~

◎First of all, we'll apply the makeup to transform you into a maiko.

　At this time, we will ask you whether you would like your makeup to be "cute" or "pretty," so please think about it.

◎Once the makeup is done, it's time for the "half wig"

◎First, separate the hair in front and on the sides.

　We will be using a lot of bangs, so if possible, the longer the better, and our staff will be pleased. However, even if it is short, we can do it as long as the bangs are at least 5cm to 10cm long, so please rest assured.

◎ Attach the base "half wig".

　At this time, our staff will choose the most suitable one while considering the balance of your makeup, face and head size, etc.

◎Once you have decided on the wig, we will braid the base wig and your own hair with a paper string called a motoyui to secure it in place.

　If the pins hit your head and hurt you, be sure to tell the staff. The half wig weighs about 1kg, so it will feel quite heavy when you put it on your head. If you start to feel uncomfortable or get a headache, be sure to tell the staff right away.

◎Once the wig is on, it's time to blend your hair into the wig base.

　First, we will start with styling your bangs. We will make the bangs round and fluffy to make them cute. If your bangs are short (5-10cm), we will use hard spray or pins. The longer your bangs are, the better the final result will be, so if you are thinking of having a maiko experience, we would be very grateful if you would not cut your bangs.

◎Once your bangs are done, the next step is to blend the hair on the sides.

　The wig will blend in along with the flow of your hair, so if you have very short hair or have the sides of your hair cut short, it may be difficult to wear a half wig. Even if you have the sides of your hair cut short, some people can wear a half wig, so please consult with the staff in charge.

◎ Once both hairs have been blended, make a final check while balancing the left and right sides.

　Is the shape wrong? Is the wig slipping out of place? Is the hair falling out? Does it match the makeup? We pay close attention to the customer, so if there is anything that bothers you, please don't hesitate to tell the staff.

◎Black color

　If you have a different hair color, we will spray your hair with black paint to make it black. After the experience is over, you can wash the areas you used at the shampoo dresser in the locker room.

By the way, if your hair is a very different color, you will not be able to go outside for walks, etc. unless you spray it with black paint, so please be aware of this.
