Geisha Makeover Experience

I made my debut as a photographer at GION AYA, the Maiko Experience Center ♡ Makeup Otaku Garden aims to take things to the next level!

This time, I made my debut as a photographer for GION AYA!!

I've been working as a makeup and dressing staff at a maiko experience center for 14 years, so why did I decide to become a photographer now?

There are various reasons for this, but since I am in charge of training the GION AYA staff,

Regardless of whether they are in charge of makeup or dressing, or photography, we want to develop them as GION AYA staff throughout the whole process.

The main reason is that I think it's important to know what a photographer does.

What you can convey based on your knowledge and actual involvement is completely different.

I've only just started taking photos, and I still have a lot to learn, but I'm hoping to step up so that I can take on outdoor shoots next spring.

Of course, I will also be providing makeup and dressing services as I have done up until now.

So, leaving aside the complicated topics...

After actually starting the shoot, I was able to talk to customers while they were putting on makeup and communicating with them in other ways.

It is also so much fun to be able to make the Geisha and Maiko look even more beautiful after the makeup and dressing staff have done so.

Even for the same customer, I realize that various elements such as posing, the angle of the light, the angle at which the face is photographed, etc. come together to capture the perfect moment.

Together with Takazawa, who also started filming practice in August, we will continue to work hard, so please continue to support us ♡
