Hello. I'm Takazawa, a makeup staff member at Maiko Experience Center GION AYA who loves movies (though I do watch a limited number of genres). The other day a friend invited me to watch Queen's "Bohemian Rhapsody" and it was amazing★It was really good! I have a weakness for Takazawa (based on a true story)~The next movie I'm interested in is "The Mule" directed and starring Clint Eastwood! I'm not that knowledgeable about movies so I'll leave it at that (lol)...let's get to the main topic!!
This time, we will introduce some recommended spots to fully express the seasonal feeling. ~Autumn / Spring~
straight out"Maruyama Park"!!
The circle is adjacent to Yasaka Shrine and Chion-in Temple, and was opened on December 1886, 19 (Meiji 12), making it 25 years old this year.
Maruyama Park is famous for its weeping cherry tree, but its official name is the single-petaled white higan weeping cherry tree.
The current cherry tree is the second generation, grown from the seeds of the first generation and cultivated in a field!! Wow!!
Of course, the cherry blossoms are famous, but Maruyama Park also has autumn leaves and ginkgo trees!!

Introducing the bustling season for maiko experiences and kimono photo shoots &
First, let's start with this year's autumn leaves↓↓
A beautiful young maiko in the autumn season when the maple leaves turn red.
The contrast of red and green is a perfect match for the soft autumn sunlight!
On the banks of the largest pond in Maruyama Park.
*This year the bright red autumn leaves peaked from late November to mid-December. Thanks to warm days and little rain, we were able to enjoy the beautiful coloring of the maple leaves for a long period of time. ○The best viewing period is usually from mid-November to mid-December. ************************************************************************************************
A beautiful young maiko during the cherry blossom season in full bloom.
The contrast between the blue kimono and the pink cherry blossoms is just amazing!!
There are even stone-paved stairs. Be careful when going down!!
The cherry blossoms are so low that you can reach them with your hand! So dynamic!!
A technique to deliberately blur the cherry blossoms!!!
*The timing of cherry blossoms reaching full bloom often varies depending on the temperature of the year.
By the way, this year the weather got warm and sunny early, so the best time to see the flowers was from mid-March to the end of March.
(The best time to see the flowers is usually from late March to early April.)
*********************************************************************************************** What did you think? Autumn and Spring in Kyoto

" But!! In winter there are shrines and temples that you want to visit for the first visit of the year, and in summer there is the Gion Festival, one of the three biggest festivals in Japan, so it's a busy time all year round!! I think there are people who wear kimonos for their first visit of the year.
