Hello everyone. Wow, it's already autumn.
This time of year is so comfortable and I like Takazawa the most.
Even though it was so hot every year, when it cools down you forget how scorching hot the summer was, right?!
In the summer, many of our customers would return from their walks in about 1 minutes, but now we are seeing more and more customers enjoying being outside for a full hour.
In autumn in Kyoto, many customers wear rental kimonos (especially in Gion, Kawaramachi, Arashiyama, etc.), but of course there are also many customers who come to experience being a maiko or Geisha ☆ (There are plenty of photo spots around our shop)
Here are some recommended blog topics for this wonderful time of year (lol)
This is where the answer to the question "?" in the title comes in.
As you can see from the picture, our store offers kimonos for men.
And I changed my clothes from summer (ro kimono) to autumn-spring (lined kimono) (#^O^#)//
You will have to wait in a waiting room while your makeup is being applied, but when it's time to choose your kimono, you can coordinate your kimono and obi with the Geisha or Maiko.
Of course, we would like everyone in the family to wear kimonos, so we also have children's kimonos available.
For men, we will provide kimonos of the correct length, so please let our staff know your height and shoe size in advance.
The "Couples Plan" and "Couples Outdoor Photo Shoot Plan" include kimono dressing for the man.
For additional guests to the Kimono-inclusive plan, or for other plans, we will dress one male guest in a kimono for 1 yen. (Photos are not included. We can accommodate requests for photos (starting at 1 yen per photo).)
Taking a stroll in a kimono with Geisha and Maiko is sure to be a picturesque and special experience.
By the way (^-^) this is how I tie men's obi
In cold weather, you have to wear a haori jacket so it can't be seen, but Takasawa thinks it's cool to be invisible.
