Who would have thought that the time would come when Gigion Aya's maiko transformation makeup, which came from Kyoto to Sydney, would take flight around the world!!!

Gion Aya is a school for makeup geeks. Recently, I have been fortunate to have more opportunities to teach makeup lessons at the school. (↓This is a makeup lesson at a beauty salon.) (↓This is a makeup lesson at a photo studio) This time!!! We gave a lesson in maiko shironuri makeup to Grace, who came from Sydney. Grace is a makeup instructor at a university in Sydney, and would love to give a lecture on this white-faced Japanese makeup in her classes♪ GION AYA has many customers from overseas, and we are very happy to finally be able to receive requests like this (*^.^*) We also filmed a video of the lesson, so we hope you will take a look at it!! We have a technical manual for our company, but there is no English version! You can't buy Japanese makeup tools in Sydney, so if you want to buy them, you need to prepare! I was already excited and started preparing ♪♪ The day started with my demonstration + lecture... Grace was completely entranced by the beauty of the white makeup. Next up, Grace will put it into practice!! First of all, the white paint on the base requires a much more advanced technique than it looks, so it was a struggle for him ((+_+)) However, the point makeup was done by Grace, a makeup instructor, as expected! I only had to explain the characteristics of maiko makeup, and the result was very precise ♡ In particular, the lipstick brush is shaped differently from Western brushes, but just by explaining the tricks, the lips became smooth and cute like a maiko's ♪ I really enjoyed the lesson with Grace and the opportunity to convey the beauty of Japanese makeup and traditional Japanese beauty to customers from overseas. I was really grateful that she was able to sense my desire to communicate and grasp the message even through my English skills. (*^_^*) She said that she would like to take a lesson on kimono dressing and hair styling next time, and then she left for her next destination.
