Geisha Makeover Experience

Golden Week is over, and I'm taking a long break. I'm doing a thorough cleaning of the children's room, covered in dust, in preparation for a major makeover (;^ω^)

How did you all spend Golden Week?

A lot of customers came to Aya too.

At first, some customers are a little anxious because they don't know what to expect, but by the end, they are all happy and say they had a great time (^^♪

There are so many things to be concerned about, such as makeup, wigs, kimono colors, posing, etc.

Today I'd like to explain a little about wigs.

Can you all tell which one is a full wig and which is a half wig???

In the first photo of Asagi wearing a kimono, she is wearing a half wig.

The second photo of the girl in the navy blue kimono was all wigs.

Full wig? Half wig? What's that? First, let me explain the difference between a full wig and a half wig.

At our shop, Sai, the basic plan for maiko is for all of them to wear a half wig.

A half wig is made by dividing your own bangs and sides by 2-3cm from your hairline, and blending the separated hair into the base wig. This creates a natural finish.

Finally, if you have a different hair color, we will spray you with black paint. So it's fine if you have brown, red, pink, or blonde hair!

Don't worry, you can wash your hair in the shampoo dresser after you're done!

I've written a lot of information, but this is how the half wig will be finished.

So it needs to be a certain length.

I'd like to have 5cm of hair in the bangs and on the sides if possible.

So, if you're a fashionable person with long bangs but shaved sides, or if you have very short hair, don't worry.

We have all kinds of wigs!!!

All wigs are available for people with short hair or people from overseas who do not want to use black paint spray.

This one fits snugly over the head, so the net acts as a hairline. This creates a beautiful Fuji-like forehead. The net will also appear as your forehead in photos, so place it a little closer to your forehead.

If you are worried about your forehead being too wide, the length, etc., you can discuss it with the staff on the day of the experience and decide, so don't worry (*^^)v

Unlike a half wig, you don't need to use your own hair, so you don't have to worry about washing your hair, which might make it a little easier.
