Business is thriving with Maiko!

Hello everyone!! It's Tsuya who has been getting rained on a lot recently!!
It only rains when you don't have an umbrellaIt's been snowing a lot lately lol

On my way home in the light rain, I happened to see the Toka Ebisu festival going on, so I headed over to Tsuya, who loves festival atmospheres!!

Sorry, it's a bit hard to see because of the reflection.
There was a huge sign standing there!! Below it, a row of food stalls were lined up!!

Toka Ebisu is a festival dedicated to Ebisu, one of the Seven Lucky Gods, to bring prosperity to business.
At this festival, you can receive lucky bamboo in hopes of business success.
Come to think of it, I saw a lot of people carrying lucky bamboo on the train.

On that day, when I went to Ebisu Shrine in Kyoto, maiko were handing out lucky bamboo!!!
Tsuya joined the crowd of people who were there to see the maiko and took some great photos.

Even though I couldn't see it anymore, I tried my best to zoom in!!

The rice ear hairpin is so cute too!!! I'm so jealous that you got to receive the lucky bamboo directly from a maiko!!!
Tsutani went home stuffing himself with taiyaki that he bought from a food stall, thinking that he would like to stand in that line next year.

If anyone has actually received a lucky bamboo from a maiko, please let me know.
