Castles, ninjas, haiku, and more...
Hello!! Recently there have been a lot of history lovers and I've been able to have lots of history talks!! I'm happy Tsuya. Everyone has core information and I'm learning a lot (^v^). And, for the first time in a while, history-loving Tsuya went to a castle!!

This time I went alone, so it was a relaxed and leisurely trip (*^_^*) I went to...
Iga Ueno Castle!!!
Actually, we have been doing the 100 Famous Castles Stamp project for a few years now... and this is one of them!!!

And speaking of Iga...
ninja! ! ! ! ! ! NINJA! ! ! !
In Iga Ueno
Ninja TrainI switched to the !! It looks really fast!! It gives you a sense of speed!!

We arrived at Iga Ueno Castle riding on a ninja!!!
↑ This kind of road is exciting.
\Boink!!!!!/
What a beautiful castle tower!!! And this castle is actually...
Favorite General No.2comes
Lord Todo TakatoraIt's a castle that has a special connection to me!!!

When we went inside, there were many exhibits related to Lord Takatora. If you are a history buff, have you ever seen this helmet before? This one was used by Lord Todo Takatora.
A black lacquered Chinese crown helmet
I was impressed by how much bigger it was than I imagined. It has a strange shape! It would stand out on the battlefield! I was allowed to take photos inside the castle, so I took loads of them.

Next!! I couldn't help but take a photo of this!! Makeup tools and hairpins!!

Actually, all of these hairpins have the Todo Ivy family crest on them.

The family crest was also printed on the birakiran (a metal frame worn during the maiko experience).

It even got into that brush in the center!!!

I really admire a hairpin with my family crest on it.

The dressing table was also wonderful!!! And speaking of castles built by Todo Takatora, a master castle builder...their stone walls are so high!!! The stone walls of Iga Ueno Castle are the most famous high stone walls.

It was so high that my legs trembled when I saw it from above.

It's nearly impossible to climb up here

But what a beautiful stone wall!!!

Within the grounds of Iga Ueno Castle, there is a ninja house named after the Iga ninja, and they will give you a detailed explanation, so if you want to take your overseas friends to a fun, Japanese place, Iga Ueno Castle is the place for you! I highly recommend it!

It is also a place closely related to Matsuo Basho, so it was a wonderful place where you could experience a lot of history!!
