Maiko Experience Center GION AYA Staff Recommended Ramen

It's really hot recently
The other day, Kyoto was hit by a heatwave that was so intense I felt like I was melting.
Even in the midst of all this, everyone was beautifully transformed into maiko and seemed to be enjoying outdoor photo shoots and strolling around, which somehow made me feel refreshed.

Summer in Kyoto is scorching hot, but that makes cold Kyoto sweets taste even better.
There are many really delicious sweet shops near Gionsai.
Famous for Gion fondueJuvencelIt is also about a 1-minute walk away.
They also serve summer fondue from mid-June to mid-August.
They are also famous for their matcha parfaits.TsujiriFamous for its warabimochiRakushoYou are also a real neighbor.

Of course, there are plenty of places to eat.
We often go out to eat together after work (^^)




Ramen is perfect for the hot summer!!!
That's what I think, but what do you all think?
So, although the taste is different, I would like to introduce two chicken-based ramen with a mild flavor.
Both of these places require a bit of a walk from GION AYA towards Kawaramachi, but they are both incredibly delicious.

First, a lightChicken Salt Ramen (￥900)



This is a 7-minute walk from Hankyu Kawaramachi Station, near Shinkyogoku Shopping Street.

It was so smooth and smooth that I finished it in no time and realized that this ramen is easy to eat even in the coming season.
Since it's salt-based, it might be a good choice for a final drink.

This shop is also a 3-minute walk from Hankyu Kawaramachi Station, in the alley opposite Kawaramachi OPA.

The collagen-rich soup is like a potage, and I find myself drinking it all up every time.
Even the char siu is made with chicken, making this a must-try for chicken lovers.

There are still many delicious ramen restaurants in Kyoto, so I would like to explore them even more! (^^)!
