Geisha makeover experience at Kyoto GION AYA

We are now in the second half of August and most of the summer events have come and gone, but how are you doing?
Students may be working hard on their summer homework.
I was the type of person who would rush to do my summer vacation homework in the latter half of August. (^_^;)
The Gozan no Okuribi finally ended yesterday, but for those of you who haven't yet fully enjoyed summer!
We would like to introduce the "Night Parade of One Hundred Demons Exhibition" held at Kodaiji Entoku-in Temple, which is close to our store.
The Hyakki Yakoyo picture scroll and ghost paintings will be on display until August 8st.
In fact, the Kodaiji Temple Hyakki Yagyo 8D projection mapping will be taking place until August 18th!
I've been wanting to go too, so I'm waiting for the right timing... (laughs)

I went to the annual "Hanatouro" event held near the Maiko Experience Center GION AYA with our annual staff member Konishi, aka Koni-chan!

Speaking of summer in Kyoto, the Gion Festival is a seasonal event that takes place in a grand manner. But what exactly is the Gion Festival? I didn't really know much about it, so I googled it.
I went to the Setsubun Festival in Gion again this year in 2020. I was so moved by the appearance of the maiko HAaaan♡, who is a fan of Kanda♡(^^)/

The annual "Setsubun Festival" held in the grounds of Yasaka Shrine is a special event that comes to mind every February! We did our best this year too (lol) Come and see us!
