Konitan and Takami's Holiday ~Ukiyo-e Appreciation Edition~
Hello everyone(^^)/
This is Konishi, who has recently been reading Tezuka Osamu's manga "Phoenix" (*^^)
It makes you think about what it means to be human...
Now then...
Takazawa (Takamii), Konishi and I, are always together both at work and in our private lives, and recently we have often been going to ukiyo-e exhibitions together.
At first, I invited him to come along, but now Takami-chan is also hooked (^^♪
I'd like to introduce you to an ukiyo-e exhibition that I recently visited that is still ongoing (^^)/
It is being held at Abeno Harukas.
"Harunobu No. 1! Sharaku No. 2! Ukiyo-e Masterpieces from the Philadelphia Museum of Art"!
I always take my time to look at the Ukiyo-e exhibitions carefully, so I usually end up staying for about two hours (*^_^*)
The kimono patterns, the scenery, everything is so detailed and beautiful, and it's truly moving to think that such things have existed for 200 or 300 years!
As we watched, Takami and I talked about how the way the women stood was soft, graceful and sexy, and that it could be a good inspiration for how maikos stand.
By the way, the cafe on the 17th floor is selling cappuccinos with Sharaku latte art for a limited time only (^^)/

This exhibition will be on until Sunday, December 6th, so if you want to go, hurry up!
Of course, we also enjoyed the highest observation deck in Japan.
Takami looking out at the skyscraper-filled streets of Osaka...
The sunlight was strong.
Now, let me introduce you to another Ukiyo-e exhibition!
Unfortunately, this event ended on November 15th, so please watch it to see what kind of event it was!
It was on display at the Ashiya City Museum of Art in Hyogo Prefecture.
"Ukiyoe Love Stories: One or Two Love Stories"(*^^)
The main theme was love between men and women, and there were paintings of love suicide stories that could be made into Kabuki plays.
There was a face-in sign at the entrance, so I tried it!
What do you think??
Looks good right??
The Ashiya one has finished, but the Abeno Harukas one is running until December 6th, so be sure to check it out!!
