Maiko Experience Place Gionsai: The German Goddess Descends!!!

Hello everyone!
Due to the cold wave, Sakagami has been dressed like a snowman lately!
Even though I was born in January, I hate the cold, so winter is very hard for me...
Even so, when I want to look fashionable on my days off, I manage to get by by sticking heat packs on my innerwear or the inside of my riders jacket (+_+)
I hope it gets warmer soon...

Cheer up!
This time, we will introduce some overseas customers!

Mr. N from Germany 🙂

There are many staff members at Aya who are fluent in English, but I don't understand English at all. (*_*)
I usually get by with simple English and body language, but Ms. N was a very cheerful person who would talk to me a lot, so I tried to speak to her in as much English as I could, and she had a great time during the makeup session. (laughs)

First one:)

It's a photo that makes it look like she's about to start dancing with a fan in hand!
The client requested cute makeup, but as we added more pretty elements to match her original facial features and applied the maiko makeup, it seemed like she was starting to resemble someone else...

Hmm? Does she look like Natalie Portman? (゜-゜)

I was surprised to see Ms. N transformed into an actress with the maiko make-up! (Although she was already beautiful to begin with!)

And the second one!



It's the same angle as the shot of Aya in blue kimono with a folding umbrella that's on the top of her homepage ＼(^o^)／
This angle is very popular with people overseas, and some even show me pictures of it while they're putting their makeup on and say, "Do it like this!"
Actually, to get these eyebrows at this angle, you have to draw them a little differently than the basic maiko style, so if you want to try it out, just tell the staff during your makeup session and we'll do our best to accommodate your request ♡

The look of pride on her face as she holds her umbrella is so glamorous!!
You can choose from a set number of poses for your photos, and the photographer will give instructions on things like gaze each time. However, the same pose and gaze can look fragile or powerful depending on the customer, and it's really fascinating to see each customer's unique personality come out!

At the end, we took a photo together.



Ms. N occasionally blurted out Japanese during our conversation, and after we took a photo together she said to me in Japanese, "Thank you, Saki-chan!" which made me feel truly honored as a makeup staff member!
I'm grateful that they chose the color for me from among so many other shops, but what makes me happiest is when I can create the beauty and meet their wishes and make them happy (*^_^*)
