Geisha Makeover Experience

Takasawa has been introducing our customers for a while now, and we will continue to do so in the future! Today, we would like to introduce Mr. Y.

Hello everyone.
The recent high humidity has made my body feel heavy and puffy (lol) ← Note) In reality, I'm puffy all year round... (+o+)

However, the customer we would like to introduce this time is Mr. Y, who visited us in early June.
Ms. Y experienced the preparations of a maiko and a Geisha in one day.

Let’s start with the maiko.

The maiko's dressing has been designed to be elegant and gentle!!

The makeup is light, and including the wig, I tried to give the impression of a very round figure.

For Ms. Y, who has a small face, we deliberately left a lot of white-painted skin to make her cheeks look plump, creating a plump, youthful impression.
Therefore, I kept my eyebrows and eyeliner short, and the vertical width of my lipstick modest ☆ (This is unusual for Takasawa-style, who often wears thick lipstick!!!)

After a short break, it's time for the geisha to get ready.

The geisha's outfits were also elegantly done!!
However, geisha are older and wear wigs, so their makeup changes again.
The eyebrows are not angled too much, but are thick, short and set closer to the center.
The reason for this is simply to show off my eye makeup and lipstick!!
After all, balance is an essential element in everything, so instead of the thick, short eyebrows of a young maiko, I drew the thick, short eyebrows of a geisha.
Beni also took this opportunity to show off her Takasawa-style style (laughs).

Her pose is very good! The makeup, kimono and obi make for a very elegant photo, don't you think?


The whole body pose makes her look like a professional! Even from a distance, the makeup is clearly visible.
Especially when shooting outdoors, the sunlight is often strong, so I think it's important to create contrast. The dignified atmosphere is very beautiful.
